1: How to build your life on the right foundation | Anchor

What do you do when life is difficult or uncertain? Who or what do you hold on to? And how do you know it will be secure enough to hold you through the storms of life? None of us know what the New Year holds for each of us. So, the Bible wants us to know that we can see God as our anchor all throughout the whole of our lives. If we rely on God, we can find strength, peace, and a firm foundation during the storms of life. Just as an anchor prevents a ship from drifting or being tossed around by waves, God is the source of stability and security in life. As we start our new series of messages, we begin by looking at why it's important to have the right beliefs in life – to build our life on the right foundation. We will also discover three commitments we need to make in building our lives on the truth.
