1: Removing the masks we wear | Masks

What do Batman and Spiderman both have in common? They wore a mask. And the reason why superheroes would wear a mask was to hide their true identity. They didn't want people to know who they really were. And even though we don't wear a physical mask, the reality is that many of us are wearing masks in our everyday life at different times and in different situations. These masks are designed to prevent people from knowing our true selves. As we begin our new series of messages, we are going to look at the different ways we can ask God to teach us to drop the masks and to bring the real us. We start by looking at the first example in the Bible of mask wearing. In the message we will discover why wearing a mask never works and how God offers us a better way.
