4: How to defeat guilty secrets | Suitcase

We continue in our summer series of messages called Suitcase where we are looking at some of the baggage and burdens we carry in our lives. God knows our frame and that we were never designed to carry such loads. Another of those burdens is guilt. We will seek to see the working of the conscience, where guilt is a helpful pain and where to go with it. We will be exploring some of the psalms of David; the man who models the right heart attitude when we detect guilt, beginning with Psalm 32 and moving on to Psalm 51.

We will explore guilt as a theme through the Old Testament through a trail of guilty secrets, which will leave us hanging on the thought- how can God forgive our sins and remove our guilt. We will see and rejoice together at the extravagant display of justice and love where God dealt with our guilty burdens once and for all to remove and free us from this ugly burden.
